      This hefty collection features traditional Mother Goose rhymes and Disneyfied story adaptations starring such characters as Rip Van Goofy, Pied Piper Mickey, and Daisylocks. The illustrations--animation stills--vary in quality and give the volume an uneven look. There are much better versions of all the tales; this collection, however, includes animator Bill Peet's "Goliath II."
