Gr 3-6-Main texts are bolstered by fact boxes, definition boxes, and sidebars. Photos of artifacts, reproductions, and illustrations that depict ancient Egyptian life appear throughout. As the subjects are closely connected, there is some overlap among the volumes. For examples, the story of Osiris as first ruler of Egypt appears in slightly different forms in Pharaohs, Myths, and Gods. The latter two share quite a bit of material as they are essentially the same subject. Gods also has inconsistencies between "The Gods' Family Tree" and chapters on individual gods, making it rather confusing. Give this volume a miss, but the rest are suitable additions for readers interested in ancient Egypt.
